Falgun Pic 2020! Falgun is the first month of king season spring. The 13th February is actually the first day of Pohela Falgun according to the Gregorian calendar. Falgun is the eleventh month of the Bengali calendar and also the starting of spring season. To welcome the season in this day the people of Bangladesh and some parts of India especially Kolkata, Udissha etc celebrate this day joyfully.
For celebrating this day in Bangladesh Bosonto Udjapan Parishad organized different cultural program and maintained the cultural events also.
Though the Boshonto Utshob is being celebrated long time ago, but it spread throughout from Dhaka University Fine Arts Institutions.
The festival is known as National Spring Festival in Bangladesh. Young girls wear Bosonti colour Saree which is known as Falgun Saree. The girls also wear yellow flower ring on the head. They prepare themselves beautifully for the occasion. The male wear Yellow, White, Red Punjabi.
The village people usually celebrate this day with Pita Utshab to welcome spring in Bangladesh.
Not only Bangladesh also in China and around the countries where the Bangladeshis live celebrates this day. They offer Falgun greetings to each other on this occasion.
In the spring season the nature adorns with different flowers and new leafs. The spring in Bangladesh belongs two months, Falgun and Chaitra.
The poem and song writters are dedicated many poems and songs to this season. Bosonto Batase Soi go Bosonto Batase (বসন্ত বাতাসে সইগো বসন্ত বাতাসে) is the one of the popular song of these.
Boshonto Utshob Dress for Girls & Boys
During the Boshonto utshob most of the girls wear the traditional Boshonti Saree which is so colorful. But some of them also wear new colorful salwar kameez.
On the other side boys wear colourful Punjabis. Most of that are white, red blue or mixed colour. Some of them wear new Shirt also.
